These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using Amble. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. About Amble and these Terms
Amble is provided by InterX Network Inc., a corporation registered in Delaware, United States (“InterX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms cover the Amble website and app, together the “Services.” The website provides product information and legal notices. Visiting it does not create an account, activate a microphone, or start a subscription.
The app supports voice conversations, a personality and way of conversing that you can shape, continuity through saved memories, and notes you can revisit. Amble is currently in development. Public app registration, Google and Apple sign-in, paid subscriptions, and in-app self-service deletion and export are not yet available. Descriptions of these options explain their intended operation when offered, rather than guaranteeing availability today.
You must agree to the applicable Terms when accepting access to the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app. A feature may have additional terms or permissions, which will be presented when relevant. This document does not grant access to a private test or override another person’s account permissions.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Amble app is intended for adults aged 18 or older in the United States who can legally enter an agreement. It is not intended for children or teenagers.
Use only an account you are authorized to use. Provide accurate account information, protect your devices and sign-in credentials, and contact lukeyang@intermix.space if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share access in a way that exposes another person’s information.
When Google or Apple sign-in is made available, the provider will authenticate you and Amble will use the resulting identity information to establish or access your Amble account. We do not receive your Google or Apple password. The provider’s terms also apply to your use of its authentication service. Our Privacy Policy explains the information involved and its permitted uses.
Signing out, removing a Google or Apple connection, and deleting your Amble account are different actions. Removing a provider connection does not itself erase information already held by Amble. Contact us for help with account access or deletion requests; do not assume that changing your provider connection cancels every existing Amble session.
3. AI identity and limitations
Amble is artificial intelligence, not a human being. Its voice, replies, summaries, and recollections are generated by software. Its conversational style or a role you choose does not establish human feelings, professional qualifications, or a professional relationship with you.
AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or misleading. Transcription can mishear speech; memories and notes can omit details or mistake an inference for a fact. Check information before relying on it, especially where an error could affect health, safety, finances, or legal rights.
Amble does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, or professional legal or financial advice. We do not promise therapeutic benefits. It is not a substitute for qualified professionals or human relationships and support.
Amble is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it to monitor your safety, detect danger, contact responders, or deliver help. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. An automated safety response does not mean a person is monitoring the conversation or that help has been dispatched.
4. Voice, memory, and your controls
Voice conversations require microphone permission and an active audio session. Preparing a connection does not itself authorize audio transmission. Pausing stops the current audio interaction; it does not erase previously processed information. You can also control microphone permission in your device settings.
Amble processes audio for live conversation and saves conversation text, selected facts and preferences, derived memories, and notes. The current Amble application does not persist raw audio recordings in its own storage. Audio is still transmitted to and processed by external AI services; this is not a promise that every provider has zero retention.
Saved information can provide context for future conversations. Background processing of text and notes may finish after audio is paused, without restarting audio. Interruptions, connection failures, usage limits, and incomplete information can affect replies and memory.
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing lukeyang@intermix.space. In-app self-service deletion and export are not currently available. A spoken request to forget something or a change on screen is not confirmation that underlying records have been deleted. We will communicate the status of a request and any applicable limitations through the request process described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Your content and our limited permission
You retain the rights you have in your words, audio, and other information you provide (“Input”). You are responsible for having the right to provide it. Take care with another person’s private information and avoid unintentionally including bystanders in microphone input.
You grant InterX a nonexclusive permission to receive, transmit, host, process, and transform Input and related outputs only as needed to provide and maintain the Services, protect their security, and comply with law. This includes generating replies, maintaining memories, preparing notes, and retrieving relevant context. Service providers may process information for these purposes under the limits described in our Privacy Policy.
This permission does not authorize selling private conversations, using them for advertising, voluntarily providing them for third-party general-purpose model training, or commercializing your voice as a standalone asset. It remains subject to applicable privacy and deletion obligations.
You retain any rights that applicable law gives you in generated outputs. Outputs may not be unique or eligible for intellectual property protection. We do not promise exclusive ownership or freedom from third-party rights. Rights in our software, branding, and other existing intellectual property are not transferred to you.
6. Responsible use
Use the Services lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:
- Facilitate violence, exploitation, fraud, harassment, or other unlawful conduct.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, or misrepresent generated content as an authentic statement from another person.
- Access another user’s information, steal credentials, defeat access controls, or interfere with the Services.
- Bypass usage or safety controls, or use automation to abuse the service.
- Record or impersonate people without the rights and permissions required by law.
These restrictions do not prohibit conduct protected by applicable law, including lawful reporting of security concerns. The website does not provide public posting or user-to-user messaging.
7. Third-party services and information
Amble uses external AI services and may use search and weather services to answer requests. Relevant text or a location you mention may need to be sent to a provider. Sources can be inaccurate or outdated; a result or link is not an endorsement.
When you follow a link or use a separate service, that service’s terms and privacy practices apply to your interaction with it. This does not remove our responsibility for information we control. Google and Apple authentication are governed by the respective providers’ terms as well as the relevant provisions of these Terms.
8. Access, usage, and payment
There are currently no paid subscriptions or purchases through this website. Development access and test allowances are not paid consumer plans and do not guarantee continued access or future features.
If paid features are introduced, we will present the price, billing period, renewal conditions, usage limits, cancellation method, and applicable refund terms before a purchase. No charge or subscription is authorized simply by visiting the website or reading these Terms.
If subscriptions are offered through Apple, its applicable purchase and subscription-management processes will apply. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an Amble account are separate actions; applicable privacy rights are not conditional on purchasing or keeping a subscription.
9. Availability, suspension, and leaving
Features may change or be unavailable, especially during development. We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect recall, or error-free performance. We will communicate material changes affecting paid access if paid features are introduced.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a serious violation of these Terms, security risks, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and permitted, we will explain the reason and provide a contact route. Restrictions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may stop using Amble at any time. Signing out, uninstalling, or pausing audio does not itself delete server records or cancel a separately purchased subscription. Retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Responsibility and disputes
The Services are provided with the limitations described in these Terms. We make no guarantee that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer protections, excuses duties imposed by law, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a concern arises, you may contact lukeyang@intermix.space so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not waive your rights or require you to delay a legally protected claim. Disputes remain subject to applicable law and may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a fixed damages cap, or a shortened deadline for bringing a claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through suitable notice before they take effect, with renewed agreement where required by law. A change will not retroactively authorize an incompatible use of previously collected information.
If you do not accept updated terms, you may stop using the affected service while retaining rights provided by applicable law. Any effect on a paid subscription will be explained when relevant.
